St. Patrick GIFT Gala underway

McCOOK, Neb. -- After the 2020 St. Pat’s GIFT Gala was canceled last March because of the pandemic, organizers were hoping to resume the major fund-raiser in 2021.
The 2021 date had been penciled in for Saturday, March 20, but the 2021 GIFT (Giving Investments for Tomorrow) Gala will remain virtual again this year with the online auction taking place now through March 21.
Now in its fourth year, the GIFT Gala benefits St. Patrick Elementary School and includes an auction and raffle tickets. The GIFT Gala auction will be conducted online through Old West Realty and Auction with the bidding process open now through Sunday, March 21 at 7 p.m. All proceeds from the auction including the buyer's premium go toward the school.

The 2021 event does include one in-person event. On Saturday, March 20, an in-person auction preview is planned from 5-8 p.m. in the St. Patrick Elementary Gym, with a chance to see the auction items available for bidding. Auction items, which range from knick-knacks to jewelry, gift certificates for oil changes and donations of beef.
After the online auction comes to a close Sunday, March 21 at 7 p.m., all items will be picked up Monday, March 22 at the St. Patrick School gym.
Raffle tickets also remain on sale with the drawing to be held as planned during the auction preview Saturday, March 21. Winners need not be present to win.
Sponsored by Red Willow Chemical & Fertilizer, the $10 tickets earn a chance for the $2,000 grand prize, plus 10 chances to win $100.
