Bison tennis player makes State Games top three

LINCOLN, Neb. — McCook High School's Isaac Hinze competed in the boys 16's tennis competition at the Cornhusker State Games recently.
Hinzehad a solid outing, earning a third place finish against some solid competitors. Isaac was given a first round bye, in round two he defeated Glen McChristian 6-2, 6-1.
He defeated Will Mallisee in the quarterfinals by default. He then lost to Clark Rue 3-6, 0-6 in the semifinals.
Isaac bounced back to defeat Nahum Barber 6-2, 6-1 in the third-place match.
Hinze will be a junior on the McCook High tennis team this fall. He is a two year letter winner and state medalist in both his years competing in doubles.
Isaac will transition to singles for the Bison.
