Rawlins girls conquer NWKL tourney

ATWOOD, Kan. — Rawlins County’s girls are Northwest Kansas League tournament champions after beating St. Francis, 50-35, Saturday evening.

The Buffaloes (8-5) dominated with three double-figure scorers in junior Kierstyn Domsch (15 points), senior Kristen Beckman (12) and senior Libby Mosley (10).

Beckman and Domsch both drilled a pair of three-point shots.

Sophomore Sadie Sramek added six points and soph Abby Singhateh scored five.

The Buffaloes took charge during a 13-3 third quarter.

Beckman swiped five steals and Domsch stole four.
