McCOOK, Neb. — Undefeated Dundy County-Stratton started fast and never looked back during a 64-19 Cattle Trail win over Decatur Community (Kan.) Tuesday evening.

The Tigers took a 24-3 lead mainly behind furious full-court pressure. Their margin reached 40-9 by halftime while inspiring a running clock after intermission.

No individual stats were obtained from the final of eight Cattle Trail tourney games on Tuesday.

The Tigers (3-0) will take on Maywood-Hayes Center in an 8 p.m. semifinal on Friday again at MCC.

They’re trying to make it two early tourney titles following a Kimball Invitational championship last weekend.

Decatur Community slips to 0-2 on the season and will face Arapahoe in an 8 p.m. consolation semi at McCook High.
