McCOOK, Neb. — A 13-0 Wolves run to start the second half fueled Maywood Hayes-Center’s 55-37 Cattle Trail win over Arapahoe Tuesday afternoon.

Weston Morrow followed a fabulous 38-point effort last weekend with another 24 to lead Tuesday’s triumph at McCook High School.

Morrow hit two triples, but his real success was 14-for-15 at the foul line.

Coy Hale added seven points and drilled a three early in the second half which sparked MH-C momentum.

Arapahoe (0-2) had stayed within 22-18 into halftime but fell behind 35-18.

Wacey Flack added another second points, including one trifecta. The Wolves take on 3-0 Dundy County-Stratton in Friday’s Trail 8 p.m. semifinal at MCC.

Nolan Meyers’ seven points paced a balanced Arapahoe attack where Cord Frink and Triston Abraham added six apiece.

Arapahoe takes on Decatur Community Friday at 8 p.m. in MHS.
