McCOOK, Neb. — Waiting all day to play didn’t lessen Wauneta-Palisade’s intensity throughout a 44-31 Cattle Trail win over Medicine Valley Tuesday night.

The Broncos bolted to a 13-2 lead while earning their first win this season.

Senior Tucker Boos hit two baskets en route to his team-high 15 points. He drilled a pair of three-point shots to prevent Med Valley Raider comebacks.

Austen Rozelle — another well-seasoned veteran — shook off a scoreless first quarter and totaled 12 moer key Bronco points.
