A 'Fast Orange' Christmas

Fourteen-year-old Zoey Shields, a freshman at McCook Senior High and a McCook "Christmas Toy Box" volunteer, holds the "Loctite/Fast Orange" collectible model race car, one of many NASCAR and NHRA circle track race and drag race model cars donated to the Toy Box for its distribution Sunday, Dec. 8. "Because of an anonymous donor's/family's generosity and true Christmas spirit, the Toy Box was the recipient of this large, amazing private collection of NASCAR and NHRA model cars," said Toy Box Head Elf Barb Ostrum. Speaking for her fellow elves, Bars said, "We are grateful for this donation and for the generosity of the collector's family. Our hope is that those who received the cars as gifts truly enjoy them as much as this collector did."
