70th anniversary

The family of Bruce and Beverlee Swanson of McCook is requesting a card shower in honor of the couple’s 70th wedding anniversary on Tuesday, Oct. 22, 2019. They were married in McCook in 1949. They grew up in McCook, both graduating from McCook Senior High. They farmed north of McCook until retirement and now reside at Brookdale Independent Living in McCook. Please join the family in remembering their 70 years of marriage this fall. Their family includes children, Terri Goodsell (husband, Alan), of Absarokee, Mont., Leslie Butler of Fort Collins, Colo., Robert Swanson (wife, Kate) of Lincoln, Neb., and Steven Swanson (wife, Rhonda), of Dumas, Texas; 7 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
