Tigers and Broncos triumph, Eagles edge Dusters

BENKELMAN, Neb. — The Dundy County-Stratton girls reached 11-1 with a 57-23 victory over Medicine Valley on Friday.

They shook off their close loss at Hitchcock County on Tuesday.

No individual stats were obtained for either team.

The Broncos continue battling with just six players.

Wauneta-Palisade edged Garden County, 40-35, on Saturday and improved its record to 4-9 this season.

Southern Valley delivered a super 42-40 win over as the Eagles (5-10) took a 27-16 halftime lead and held off those Dusters.

The Eagles recovered from a loss to Chase County on Tuesday.

Again, no individual stats were found on maxpreps.com before today’s deadline.

At Elwood, Arapahoe featured three double-figure scorers but lost 59-44 at Elwood.

Junior Terri Hilker put in 15 points while seniors Joslyn North and Mariah Watson added 11 apiece.
