The family of Delbert Blake of McCook is requesting a card shower in honor of his 80th birthday on Nov. 7, 1938. He was born in 1938 in Ogalalla, Neb. He and his family have owned and operated Blake’s Service in McCook since 1961, 58 years. His family includes his wife, Neola Blake of McCook; children, Cindy (Lonnie) Lawson of McCook, Jerry (Donna) Blake of McCook, Sheila (Tom) Bales of Nebraska City, Neb.; and Angie (Darrin) Samway of McCook; 13 grandkids and 17 great-grandkids.
