Bison girl wins Top 10 state medal

McCook junior Elsi Rodewald earned 10th place among all Class B girls runners at Kearney Country Club Friday afternoon. Rodewald ran the hilly 5K course in 20:40.8 and joined area medalist Sable Lamely from Dundy County-Stratton, who placed third in Class D.
