Wolves unleash outdoor season with home meet

The outdoor track and field season hit full speed on Wednesday during Maywood-Hayes Center’s annual invitational. Many area athletes competed in a meet that took place on Hitchcock’s home ground at Trenton. Maywood-Hayes Center’s Kayla Minary (right)pulls ahead to an early lead in the girls’ 3200-meter relay at Wednesday’s Maywood-Hayes Center Invite held in Trenton. MHC won the event and finished second overall in the girls team standings. Complete results were not obtained by today’s press deadline for the Gazette, but will likely appear in an upcoming edition.
