Don't miss the chance to hear the Oberlin Area Concert Band

Dear Editor,

I felt compelled to write to the McCook Gazette after seeing the concert held at the Historic Fox Theatre this last Sunday.

I have NEVER heard an orchestra that sounded remotely like this one; it was so professional and moving I didn’t want it to end.

It was presented by the Oberlin Area Concert band with members from Oberlin, McCook, Norton and Danbury.

It was absolutely wonderful! The Bugler’s Holiday with its trumpet trio was as professional as any my husband and I have ever heard, and my husband enjoys listening to a lot of this music.

It brought people to their feet for a standing ovation.

People of McCook, you truly missed out on a wonderful experience if you didn’t go. I was disappointed at the low turnout, especially to a donation-based event.

If you get a chance to ever see this orchestra again, please take it from me and attend.

You won’t be disappointed!
