Oh what a colorful morning to run
McCOOK, Neb. — The 2017 YPG Color Run on Saturday brought out young and old, men and women, who finished more colorful than they started thanks to bags full of powdered color.
Stacy Priebe led the field, which started and ended at Kelley Park in McCook, with a time just under 20 minutes to also claim the 40-49 men’s age division.
It was the seventh event in the 2017 Republican River Fitness Series.
Stacie Blomstedt led the women and the 30-39 women’s age division.
Proceeds from the Young Professional’s Group Color Run will provide four scholarships in 2018.
The rundown of top placers in all divisions of Saturday’s YPC Color Run which featured 74 participants.
Women
Age 19 and under: 1. Grace Cappel 23:08.1, 2. Kylea Stritt 28:27.5, 3. Paige Wilkinson 28:53.5.
Ages 20-29: 1. Cassie Miller 27:18.6, 2. Genna Vogel 28:16.5.
Ages 30-39: 1. Staci Blomstedt 22:40.2, 2. Brandi White 24:30.1, 3. Ashley Brost 28:17.7, 4. Kristine Stritt 29:02.8.
Ages 40-49: 1. Shelly Wilkinson 25:42.7, 2. Gay Leitner 31:32.7, 3. Julie Schultz 33:09.6, 4. Andi Cappel 33:25.4.
Ages 50-59: 1. Diane Ruppert 28:00.3, 2. Theresa Eschliman 28:05.1.
Ages 60 and above: 1. Sharon Beiber 36:57.9, 2. Tess Brown 47:25.7, 3. Josie Lytle 47:27.2.
