Bison golf debut moved up a day

NORTH PLATTE, Neb. — The McCook boys’ varsity golf season debut will be one day sooner due to possible weather changes this week.

McCook was scheduled to play the North Platte Invitational on Friday.

Yet with temperatures expected to top 80 degrees on Thursday, officials informed MHS that the touranment would take place Thursday rather than Friday.

Opening tee times will remain at 10 a.m.

The McCook Bison are defending Class B state team champions.

More details about this year’s squad will be featured on Thursday.

Other area teams also tee off this week.
