.B. Headley/McCook Gazette Opponents found themselves in this predicament a lot against McCook junior Kaleb Taylor (left) as he dominated B-4 district competition last weekend in McCook. Taylor pinned all three of his 220-pound foes including 1:12 finals vicotry over Scottsbluff's Garrett Nelson, who brought a 41-9 record into their title match. Taylor will take a No. 1 seed into the Class B state championship tournament starting Thursday.

McCOOK, Neb. -- All McCook district results from the B-4 wrestling meet in McCook's Peter & Dolores Graff Events Center:

106 pounds: Carson Richards (30-9 record) placed second, scored 18 points and qualified for state. Richards pinned P. Houser, Sidney (25-22) in 4:11; won 7-6 over T. Obermiller, Adams Central (37-14) and was pinned in :53 by A. Rojas, Lex (38-5).

113: Trevor Felber did not place. Felber lost 15-9 to B. Fago, Lex (15-9); and lost 6-2 to J. Peckham, Sidney (26-15).

126: Coady Armstrong did not place. He was pinned in :59 by B. Larson, Gothenburg (39-6); and lost 2-1 to A. Marshall, Holdrege (21-16).

132: Mason Bales did not place. He was pinned in 1:52 by T. Berry, Lex (19-13); lost 13-0 to B. Wilson, Alliance (20-13).

145: Landon Towne did not place. He was pinned in 1:45 by R. Valdez, Alliance (12-2); and was pinned in 3:40 by K. Brown, Gothenburg (20-17).

152: Gavin Gomez did not place and scored three points. He was pinned in 1:24 by D. Robb, Sidney (52-0) pinned K. Goodwin, Holdrege (11-24) in 1:27; and was pinned by W. Anderson, Gothenburg (37-21) in 2:30.

160: Dunnan Rogers (28-12 record) placed fourth, scored 12.5 points and qualified for state. He won 19-4 tech fall over G. Holt, Holdrege (11-18); was pinned in 1:59 by D. Vallejo, Alliance (32-2); won 3-1 over J. Feddersen, Sidney (31-13); and lost 12-2 to P. Garcia, Lex (36-7).

170: Gavyn Klein did not place. He was pinned in 2:54 by J. Duncan, Lex (26-16); and pinned by P. Peterson, Gothenburg (25-28).

182: Eric Langan (26-6 record) placed third, scored 17 points and qualified for state. He pinned A. Heikkinen, Adams Central (8-23) in 1:17; won 12-1 over T. Redecker, Alliance (12-19); was pinned in 5:12 by Z. Derr, Cozad (35-9); pinned L. Cattin, Chadron (20-12) in :18; won 3-2 over C. Edgren, Holdrege (25-15).

195: Jaret Matson (27-6) won the championship, scored 27 points and qualified for state. He pinned C. Stott, Cozad (8-28) in :57; pinned L. Hansmeier, Ogallala (12-23), in :31; won 9-1 over E. Mullen, Adams Central (31-11); pinned N. Gugelman, Gothenburg, (44-12) in 2:56.

220: Kaleb Taylor (25-5) won the championship, scored 26 points and qualified for state. He pinned J. Schernikau, Adams Central (10-16) in 1:10; pinned L. Lauder, Alliance (25-12) in 2:32; and pinned G. Nelson, Scottsbluff (41-10) in 1:12. 285: Colin Giron (25-15) did not place and scored four points. He was pinned by H. Brenn, Holdrege (33-4) in 3:00; pinned A. Duncan, Gering (24-17) in 4:07; and was pinned in 2:40 by J. Wurth, Lex
