A recap of Friday night boys basketball:

Tigers edge Eagles

BENKELMAN, Neb. -- Dundy County beat Southern Valley 61-59 with scoring 20 points in the second quarter and 18 in the third.

Southern Valley's Drake Shearer scored 20 points: six three-pointers and two free throws.

Chaston Burgeson scored 15 points: two three-pointers, two two-pointers and five free throws.

Warriors drop

battle to Vikings

BERTRAND, Neb. -- Bertrand beat Arapahoe 67-61. Arapahoe's Yordi Gutierrez scored 19 points, three three-pointers and five two-pointers.

Spencer Watson scored 14 points: one three-pointer, four two-pointers and three free throws.

Gentry Anderson, Jordan Martin and Jacob Pruitt all scored 7 points and two two-pointers.

Anderson made three free throws. Martin made one three-pointer. Pruitt made one three-throw.

Broncos romp

WAUNETA, Neb. -- Wauneta-Palisade beat Maywood- Hayes Center. Final score was 84-48 with Wauneta- Palisade scoring 33 points in the first quarter.

Trojans triumph

ALMA, Neb. -- Cambridge beat Alma 47-41.

Medicine Valley beat Brady 65-39. Medicine Valley improves its record to 8-9. Brady will attempt to move it's 5-14 record up.

Tigers top 'Riders

PAXTON, Neb. -- Southwest played Paxton, Paxton won with a score of 64-52.

They scored 15 points in the first quarter, 17 in the second, and 21 in the fourth.

Paxton's Ryan Fox, Jeff Storer nd Emmit Rosentrater all scored 16 points. Fox made four three-pointers, one two-pointer and two free throws.

Storer made three three-pointers and seven free throws. Rosentrater made six two-pointers and four free throws.

OBERLIN, Kan. -- Saint Francis beatDecatur Community, 6 5-32, scoring 24 points the first quarter.

Oberlin's Kole Breth scored 12 points, two three pointers and three two-pointers.

Gatlin Hissong and Braden Beagley both scored 8 points. Hissong made four two-pointers. Beagley made one three-pointer, two two-pointers and one free throw.

Buffaloes roll

QUINTER, Neb. -- Rawlins County beat Quinter 55-38.

Oberlin's Luke Kaiser scored 10 points and five two-pointers. Cody Bogert scored 8 points, three two-pointers and two free throws.

Connor Havlas scored 6 points and three two-pointers. Zac Funk and Kasen Ostmeyer both scored 5 points.

Funk made two two-pointers and one free throw. Ostmeyer made one two-pointer and three free throws.

Rawlins County's Braden Leitner scored 22 points, four two-pointers, two three-pointers and eight free throws.

Nick Withington scored 16 points, six two-pointers, one three-pointer and one free throw. Jorge Chacon scored 7 points, two three-pointers and one free throw.

Louis Zorn and Dylan Dulany both scored 4 points and two two-pointers.

Roughriders rout

Wildcats

On Saturday, Southwest beat Axtell 77-47.

Axtell's Creighton Kring scored 20 points, eight two-pointers and four free throws. Tyler Danburg scored eight points. No Southwest scoring was obtained.
