Utilize airport terminal

Dear Editor,

We have much-improved air travel service since Boutique Air began serving McCook. However, one thing is sadly missing! That is the terminal is not being utilized, or services, for the benefit of the travelers or for us people meeting planes, to pick up their incoming passengers.

Personally, I have experienced standing in the rain while picking up a passenger, waiting for a plane that was an hour late, and finally, waiting in the cold and wind!

My uncomfortable experiences are minute compared with what the plane crew has to put up with, i.e.: dragging the baggage and opening the gate for each passenger getting off.

Please, let us find a way to utilize the terminal! I should imagine that Boutique Air would be a willing helper!

EDITOR'S NOTE: -- City manager Nate Schneider, who is also airport manager, said the city leases the space to Boutique Air, which determines how it is used.
