Tuesday, November 29, 2016

OBERLIN, Kan. -- The new GROW Decatur County Foundation has a golden opportunity during the month of December to build a permanent unrestricted community grant program.

For the month of December 2016, every dollar GROW Decatur County Foundation raises (up to $50,000) will be matched by the Dane G. Hansen Foundation. The match limit per individual or business will be $5,000 (any amount given over $5,000 will be accepted but not matched). In addition, the donation of grain is possible through CHS in Oberlin and Cedar bluffs; Decatur Co-Op in Jennings, Norcatur and Oberlin, and Hi-Plains Co-Op in Dresden.

With generous support, the GROW Decatur County Foundation will be able to provide a variety of resources and opportunities that will make a difference in the quality of life for all residents.

For more information, visit GROW Decatur County Foundation on Facebook, watch its video on YouTube, email GROWdcf@gmail.com, call the Economic Development Office at (785) 475-2901 or contact any board member. The GROW Decatur County Foundation is an affiliate of the Greater Northwest Kansas Community Foundation and has a tax exempt 501c3 charity status.
