Missing the Y

Dear Editor,

Having been a member of the YMCA in McCook and recently moving to Iowa, We are fortunate to have three YMCA facilities within 30 miles.

However, I want to express that none of the facilities measure up to the facilities available in McCook.

I urge everyone to truly appreciate the resource available in McCook as it is exceptional in the size, diversity of facilities and personnel trainers.

None of these have the youth facilities, hot tub, sauna, pool tables, ping pong tables, racquetball facilities and much smaller swimming pools, and they would all love to have the ability to use earphones while watching television while on the treadmill.
