BSB Construction concrete worker Ivan Martinez reaches with a trowel over the decorative block retaining wall of the new landscaped and lighted walkway connecting the 300 block of Norris Avenue with the recently-renovated city parking lot on East First. Ronnie Cruz ran a long-handled bull float over fresh concrete on the Norris Avenue-side sidewalk.The walkway, parking lot and parking lot canopy have been paid for with a $350,000 Community Development Block Grant and $126,544 in city funds. The project was awaiting only the arrival of lights to be completed
