McCOOK, Neb. -- Christos Fallis of McCook passed away Sunday, Dec. 6, 2015, at El Dorado Nursing Home in Trenton. He was 80 years old.

Christos was born on May 15, 1935, at Vagu, Greece, to parents John and Maggie (Ghakuris) Fassoulis. He was the youngest of several children. It was there that he met his future wife.

Christos was united in marriage to Jeanie McConnell, originally from Imperial, on Nov. 19, 2004. When they made the decision to retire they moved to McCook and were residing there at the time of his death.

Christos loved to read, take long walks and play cards. He also enjoyed spending time with his family.

Preceding him in death were his parents and siblings.

Survivors include his wife, Jeanie Fallis, of McCook; four step-children, Doug Ridpath of Longmont, Colorado, Bob Ridpath and wife, Sabrina, of Syracuse, Missouri, Kevin Ridpath and Dianne Ward and fiance, Rory Anderson, all of Phoenix, Arizona; nine step-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews of Chicago and nephew, Kirt Blake of McCook.
