Go the extra mile

Dear Editor,

I, too, enjoyed the light parade and tour. Concluding the busy evening, we witnessed a special event with the Hillcrest Nursing Home Christmas Party at the Keystone. Judy Mercer and Friday Reiners received the outstanding employee of the year awards. Having observed both of them in their interaction with staff and public, the awards are most deserving.

We have a wonderful community that understands controversy and challenge to go the extra mile. Scrooge told me so.
