Letter to the Editor

One world religion

Monday, November 9, 2015

Dear Editor,

We may dispense with the aspect of formal or material: Pope Francis and his cronies are heretics, period. We are beyond their scandalous alliance with the population control advocates and socialists who coauthored the sacrilegious encyclical, Laudato-Si ... Beyond the humiliation of Francis grinning while accepting the Hammer and Sickle "crucifix," presented him by Bolivian President Evo Morales, and his expressed admiration for its originator, Fr. Espinal - a Jesuit who championed Marxist liberation theology ... We are even beyond his blind criticism of the faithful bishops who refused to legitimize sodomy and same-sex marriage at the SINod against the Family ... Because, on October 28, during an interview with his Masonic atheist pal, Eugenio Scalfari - editor of La Repubblica, Pope Francis made his heresy irrefutable, when responding to a question of whether divorced / civilly remarried Catholics may receive communion:

"... It is a truth and for that matter the family that is the basis of any society changes continuously, as all things change around us. We must not think that the family does not exist any longer, it will always exist, because ours is a social species, and the family is the support beam of sociability, but it cannot be avoided that the current family, open as you say, contains some positive aspects, and some negative ones. ... The diverse opinion of the bishops is part of this modernity of the Church and of the diverse societies in which she operates, but the goal is the same, and for that which regards the admission of the divorced to the Sacraments, [it] confirms that this principle has been accepted by the Synod. This is bottom line result, the de facto appraisals are entrusted to the confessors, but at the end of faster or slower paths, all the divorced who ask will be admitted."

Then, on October 30 the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops released their Declaration on the Way: Church, Ministry and Eucharist - a "unique ecumenical document that marks a pathway toward greater visible unity between Catholics and Lutherans." Because Catholics need more "dialogue" and "consensus" with error!

The document cites 32 "Statements of Agreement" where Lutherans and Catholics "converge" on topics of church, ministry and Eucharist: "Catholics and Lutherans are indeed 'on the way' to full visible unity ..." The document includes "remaining differences and possible ways forward." We must reject what the Church has always everywhere taught, because New Church ecumenism trumps Divine Law and magisterial teaching. The infallible declarations of previous popes, in matters of faith and morals, are irrelevant. The Church needs to be like the world, so the world will like the Church - said no Catholic Pope, ever ... until Francis.

"The conclusion invites the Vatican's Pontifical Council for Promoting Christian Unity and the Lutheran World Federation to create a process and timetable for addressing the remaining issues. It also suggests that the expansion of opportunities for Lutherans and Catholics to receive Holy Communion together would be a sign of the agreements already reached. The Declaration seeks a commitment to deeper connection at the local level for Catholics and Lutherans." This is religious indifferentism - and it will lead Catholics to lose their faith.

"A significant outcome of the Lutheran-Catholic dialogue in the United States and internationally is the Joint Declaration on the Doctrine of Justification (JDDJ), signed in 1999 in Augsburg, Germany. With the JDDJ, the LWF and the Catholic Church agreed to a common understanding of the doctrine of justification and declared that certain 16th century condemnations of each other no longer apply." Catholic dogma - that sanctifying grace comes via the Sacraments and the avoidance of mortal sin - is now to be supplanted by the fallacy of "Salvation by faith alone." With libertine wolves for bishops, promotion of 'Sola Scriptura' is likely on the horizon.

A glimpse of the future: In late September, an "interfaith prayer session" was held with Hindus from the Bhakti Center, who for one hour led "Krishna kirtan" (mantra) in Our Savior Catholic Church, Manhattan, NY. Krishna is a manifestation (avatar) of the Hindu god Vishnu. This desecration went unanswered by Cardinal Timothy Dolan (USCCB president 2010-2013). Video of the blasphemy exists on the Dandavats website. Saint Francis of Assisi stated that Hindu gods are devils; but under the "new theology" Pope Francis would condemn his namesake for lacking "mercy." Francis and his enablers are dismissive of pagans performing rites of demon worship in a Catholic Church because they do not believe in the Church or in the concept of truth, nor in the real presence of Christ in the Blessed Sacrament.

Modernists insist truth and dogma evolve; for, in their minds, Jesus did not believe the BS he taught - especially that crap about the Eucharist being His body, blood, soul and divinity! They could care less about God and His Holy Church, or the Sacraments, or Divine Law -- because they do not believe any of it! In fact, during a March 15 interview with Eugenio Scalfari, Francis said that unrepentant souls do not suffer eternal punishment, but rather that God "annihilates" them. As of this writing the Vatican has provided no denial or clarification. In New Church there's no divine justice, no judgment: annihilation is an act of divine "mercy." So, please cease "obsessing" over Hell. Eternal punishment is a myth, cooked up by those judgmental Churchmen of yesteryear!

At this point, if Catholics do not understand that a roaring lion, disguised as a Shepherd, is now prowling within the gates, then they will be devoured. The One World Religion is upon us ... Francis is its saintly pope, and his irreverent ecumenical cabal of non-judgmental apostates constitutes the "new apostles." God help us.

  • I don't think anyone has to worry too much about there being one world religion. There are just too many different ideas about reality or ultimate reality. Each different idea spawns a different religion. The Catholics are closer in practice and theology to Jesus's core teachings than are the protestant groups. But, the Catholics aren't exactly spot on either. Both are removed from Jesus's actual teachings. Here's a very large survey done in Great Britain. ---- http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/1403106/One-third-of-clergy-do-not-believ... --- I couldn't find a similar survey for the USA. But, what happens in Europe seems sooner or later to happen here. It's worth a good look - it is a little shocking.

  • Here is a fun term to go explore: motivated reasoning.

    Bob S -

Bob, you misunderstand what is the nature of the One World Religion (OWR) to which I refer. It is not a dogmatic "religion" per se, as in Judaism, Catholicism, or any of the tens-of-thousands of Protestant Sects, etc ...

What is actually meant by the term "OWR" is anti-religion; more precisely, it is the absence of, and hostility towards, belief in general; but especially any system of belief that asserts supernatural certitude, ontological realities, or moral absolutes - all of which find their best expression in organized religion. OWR thus is a philosophical construct that purges the supernatural and absolutes from human society; and in their stead puts an inverted focus on man, placing man as the beginning and end of all things. Man thus "evolves" to become god, and then is god.

What OWR entails, through its promulgation of "religious indifferentism," and what it demands by way of government-enforced fiat (PC) is that no one actually believe in the existence of any transcendent supreme principle, from which all moral absolutes derive authority, at any level of human society: religious / dogmatic, moral, ethical, political, cultural.

A concomitant aspect to this condition of religious indifferentism is that any individual who actually "clings to," asserts or espouses that there exists ontological truths from which humanity must derive its moral reasoning, is considered a "fanatic" - an "extremist."

While this label of "fanaticism" may be true of Islamic groups such as ISIS - because Islam is NOT a religion; but rather Islam is a totalitarian political ideology, posing as a religion in much the same way Nazism did through its occult leanings - yet, it is a convenient vehicle by which to silence and persecute any who hold a genuine belief in a religious dogma or in a set of guiding absolute moral / ethical principles. It really is not an issue of whether one is a "fanatic" in belief - as being fanatic means nothing more than being true to that which one claims to believe. People confuse the principle of being true with acts that are intrinsically unjust. There is a vast difference; and those who so liberally throw out the word "fanatic" or "extremist" know full well that they are playing an intellectually dishonest and very dangerous game - because the "sword" they so often sharpen cuts both ways, as equally hard against the just as against the unjust.

The constant resorting to the pejorative monikers of "fanatic" and "extremist," as is now used to describe those individuals whom actually believe in a religious dogma or moral absolute, is nothing but a method to marginalize these individuals / groups, and thus make their future persecution - even genocide - an acceptable course of action.

In any principle of being, whether temporal or transcendent - there must exist an absolute frame of reference, from which a hierarchy of authority descends through the various strata of human society. Absent this guiding ethos, humanity soon falls into civil chaos and moral depravity - and (ironically) at that point, all manner of evil action becomes permissible under the guise of "tolerance."

Without an absolute moral frame of reference, there can be no just law, but only whatever man determines is convenient for his present situation - aka "situational ethics." This is the guiding principle of OWR.

Americans especially have a difficult time with these concepts; for reason that we accept strong beliefs expressed weakly, or weak beliefs expressed strongly - but we do not much like strong beliefs expressed strongly. This is why "moderates" seem to exert such a prevailing force on American politics and society ... And it also explains why our American culture is quickly devolving into increasing violence and moral relativism. This is why belief in God and organized religion are under constant attack. This is why people of strong faith, who assert absolute principles, who believe in right and wrong, good and evil, heaven and hell, are regularly demonized with impunity by the media, government and those individuals who would rather that no moral principle exist so that they may do whatever they please without restraint.

Pope Francis and his fellow travelers are enablers of a OWR because they turn the Catholic Faith on its head: When they speak of "tolerance," they mean "relativism;" when they speak of "love," they mean "indifference;" and when they speak of "mercy," they mean "permissiveness." Truth may at times be harsh, but it must still be plainly spoken - Pope Francis and his cabal of modernist heretics are consummate liars ... They are frauds ,who are leading many Catholics astray.

By my making of so harsh a statement, do I hate? Well, in truth, yes I do ... I hate effeminacy. I hate sodomy. I hate error. I hate lies. And I hate evil. What kind of depraved fool would I be NOT to hate these things?

In closing, Bob, your expressed reasons, for why a OWR is not possible, actually reinforce my argument in support of why it is not only possible, but actually coming into being.

  • I probably have to look into this more carefully - there seems to be more to it than I originally thought.
