'Anything But Common' storytelling festival wins grant

LINCOLN, Neb. -- Among $157,190 in grants recently awarded by Humanities Nebraska was $3,550 to this year's "Anything But Common" Buffalo Commons Storytelling Festival, Jun 12-13 in McCook.

Humanities Nebraska awards mini grants (up to $2000) six times a year, major grants twice a year, and media grants (for film, web and other similar projects) twice a year. The next application date for mini grants is May 1. The next application due date for media grants is June 15, and major grant applications are due Aug. 1.
