Was it for the money?

Dear Editor,

With the Ray Rice fiasco, everyone is searching for answers as to why she married the guy a month after he socked her.

Last Friday's paper had a very in-depth mulling about abusers and controllers.

So far, nobody has mentioned the $35 million contract Ray Rice had to play football.

Would $35 million convince the woman to turn the other cheek and want to hang around?

Naw, that's a silly thought. Gotta be something other than money.
