JOHNSTOWN, Colorado -- Pamula Sue Olson, 59, of Johnstown, passed away Nov. 27, 2013, at the Hospice of Northern Colorado.

Pam was born May 16, 1954, in Arkansas City, Kansas, to Pete and Virginia King. Her family later moved to McCook, Nebraska, where she met Randy Olson, her high school sweetheart.

Pam and Randy married in 1974 and started their family in McCook, where Pam was a teacher. They moved to Fort Collins, Colorado, in 1987, where she continued her work as an educator until 1998.

Pam was a devoted wife and mother. Even while battling MS for 15 years, she always put her family first and found joy in spending her time with them. Those who knew her will remember her for her selfless compassion, steadfast devotion to family and friends, and her courageous and altruistic nature.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Virginia, and her grandparents.

She is survived by her father, Pete King; her husband, Randy and their three children: son, Tanner and wife, Jennifer, son, Chance, daughter, Ashley Johnston and husband, Casey; her four grandsons; her brother, Scott King and family; and her sister, Deborah Buckley and family.

A memorial service will be at Memorial United Methodist Church, 105 East E. Street in McCook on Saturday, Dec. 7, 2013, at 2 p.m.
