CAMBRIDGE, Nebraska -- Theda Marlene Biesecker, age 73, of Cambridge, passed away Oct. 10, 2013, at Cambridge Manor Nursing Home.

She was born Sept. 13, 1940, in Lexington, Nebraska, to Wayne Biesecker and Maxine Nutter. She attended Indianola, Nebraska, schools.

She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Arapahoe, Nebraska. Theda enjoyed embroidery, crocheting, collecting angels and antique oil lamps. She also enjoyed visiting with friends and family. When she was seven, her father married Edith Minard. To this union, Theda gained a sister, Gloria and brother, Phil.

Preceding her in death were her mother, father and three infant brothers.

Survivors include her mother, Edith Biesecker of Arapahoe; brother, Phil Minard; special friend, Cathy Albrecht of North Platte; sister, Gloria Biesecker of Greeneville, Indiana; special sister- in-law, Loretta Burns of McCook, Nebraska; three nephews, Rusty Minard (Benny) of Bartley, Nebraska, Eric Biesecker (Tammy) of Axtell, Nebraska and David Minard (Lena) of McCook; two nieces, Shelby Minard (Rick) of Benkelman, Nebraska and Noni Dorrell (Lee) of Greenville, Indiana; 12 great-nieces and nephews and one great- great-nephew; and three very special cousins, Nancy Miller of Kimball, Nebraska, Peggy Bunsen of Cheyenne,Wyoming and Frank Forsite of Dix, Nebraska.

Services are Monday, Oct. 14, 2013 at 11 a.m. at First United Methodist Church in Arapahoe with the Rev. Becky Saddler officiating. Inurnment will be at a later date in Elwood Cemetery.

Memorials may be given in her name to First United Methodist Church of Arapahoe.
