Jordan L. Hampton, 20, Cambridge, Nebraska -- DUI (.24) amended by Red Willow County Attorney Paul Wood to DUI (.14), $500 fine, probation 18 months, 20 hours community service within 90 days, driver's license revoked 60 days; speeding 96 mph in a 65 mph zone, $200 fine; MIP, probation 18 months; no seat belt, not pursued.

Russel A. Redden, 37, Indianola, Nebraska -- disturbing the peace, $100 fine; criminal mischief, dismissed by Red Willow County Attorney Paul Wood at the request of the victim.

Lawrence A. Bryant, 54, Brule, Nebraska -- probation violations stemming from April 2013 drunk driving arrest in North Platte, Nebraska, probation extended 6 months. Original probation sentence stems from domestic assault and reckless driving arrest in November 2010 and subsequent conviction for disturbing the peace and reckless driving.

Colin R. McConnell, 16, 803 W. Fourth Street -- curfew violation, charge dismissed by the court because prosecutor (City Attorney Nate Schneider) did not appear.

Devin C. Jacob, 21, 302 W. Seventh No. 9 -- driving under suspension, $100 fine, driver's license revoked 1 year; minor in possession, $250 fine.

Accidents

SEPT. 24, 2013:

West M Street -- a vehicle driven by John R. Betts, 46, 1309 W. Fifth Street, blinded by the early morning sun, struck a parked pickup owned by Michael T. Mendenhall, age unavailable, 212 West M Street, causing an estimated $2,400 in combined vehicle damage.
