INTRO

It's exciting to see LAST DAYS events being fulfilled right before our very eyes! Prophecies made 2500 years ago are coming to pass, just as prophesied. In Isaiah 46:9-10, we read, "Remember the former things of old: for I am God, and there is none else; I am God and there is none like me. Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying my counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure." Russia is prophesied to play a prominent role in the seven year Tribulation. The fact Russia stepped up to the plate to mediate the chemical weapons situation in Syria, foreshadows the role she will soon play in Middle Eastern affairs.

RUSSIA IN THE CROSSHAIRS OF BIBLE PROPHECY, Part 1

Ezekiel 38:1-3, "And the word of the Lord came unto me saying, Son of man, set thy face against Gog (Putin, Russia's Presd.?), the land of Magog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal, and prophesy against him, And say thus saith the Lord God; Behold, I am against thee, O Gog (Russia), the CHIEF prince of Meshech (Moscow) and Tubal (a portion of Turkey that borders Russia):" To get an idea of how ludicrous it is to fight against the Lord God, Maker of Heaven and earth turn to Psalm 2, "Why are the nations in an uproar And the peoples devising a vain thing? The kings of the earth take their stand And the rulers take counsel together And against His anointed, saying, Let us tear their fetters apart (fetters bind things together; Israel's fetters would be her government, her army and navy etc.) And cast away her cords from us." Listen to God's response, "He who sits in the heavens laughs, The Lord SCOFFS at them, Then He will speak to them in His ANGER And terrify them in His fury." Read the entire chapter. Dr. C. I. Scofield says, "That the primary reference is to the northern (European) powers headed up by Russia, all agree. Gog is the prince, Magog his land."

PART 2

Vs's. 4-6, "I will turn you about and put hooks into your jaws (the discovery of tremendous oil and gas reserves in Israel, no doubt will be "the hooks" that will attract them to Israel), and I will bring you out, and all your army, horses and horsemen, all of them splendidly attired, a great company with buckler and shield, all of them wielding swords;" Dr. Ryrie says, "Though many find it hard to believe that actual horses will be used in this battle, remember that, during the Tribulation, production and the movement of goods will be greatly restricted by the judgments of that time." "Persia (Iran), Ethiopia (Northern Sudan), and Put (Libya) with them, all of them with shield and helmet; Gomer (probably the eastern part of Turkey and Ukraine.....Dr. Ryrie) with all its troops; Beth-Togarmah (the part of Turkey near the Syrian border).

PART 3

Vs. 7, "Be prepared, and prepare yourself, you and all your companies that are assembled with you, and be a leader for them." Vladimir Putin (the Russian Pres.) has visited all these countries recently and Russia has been a prime source of weaponry for them. Russia has Muslims and is sympathetic to them, for many reasons. Although the U.S. has more proven oil reserves than any other nation on the earth, we are in the process of developing them but it will take time. Until then, we are still having to import around 60% of the oil we need. From this alone, you can see the Rapture is very near.

PART 4

Vs. 8 "After many days you will be summoned (It's been 2,000 years); in the LATTER YEARS you will come into the land (Israel) that is restored from the sword, whose inhabitants (the Jewish people) have been gathered from many nations to the mountains of Israel which had been a continual waste (since their dispersion); but its people were brought out from the nations, and they are living securely, all of them." The reason they are living SECURELY, is that they have entered into an agreement with the Antichrist of Rome, for protection from their enemies and have no more army or navy. How foolish.

PART 5

Vs. 9, "You will go up, you will come like a storm (suddenly); you will be like a cloud covering the land, you and all your troops, And many peoples with you." "Thus says the Lord God, It will come about on that day, that thoughts will come into your mind and you will devise an evil plan. Vs. 10. And you will say, I will go up against the land of unwalled villages. (Unwalled means Israel has no means of self-protection from their enemies having entered into a peace agreement with the Antichrist and turned in their weapons to him). I will go up against those who are at rest, that live securely, all of them living without walls and having no bars or gates," Vs. 12 "To capture spoil and to seize plunder, to turn your hand against the waste places which are now inhabited, and against the people who are gathered from the nations, who have acquired cattle and goods, who live at the center of the world." See Ezekiel 5:5. How will the western powers respond?
