A 'boring' job

A hazy-blue early morning sun shines on Troy Brown of Charlie's North Platte Plumbing as he runs a Ditch Witch boring machine to install a new fire/water main under the sidewalk and under Norris Avenue to the McCook Public Library. Financed by the McCook Public Library Foundation, the project at the library includes a new elevator and its sprinkler system, vestibule addition, interior remodeling, new restrooms in the basement and paved parking.
