Parents of the bride-to-be are George and Kathy Hock of Culbertson, Nebraska.

Parents of the prospective bridegroom are Nellie Ryan of Cambridge, Nebraska and the late James Ryan.

The bride-to-be is a 2001 graduate of McCook High School and a 2005 graduate of Fort Hays State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Animal Science. The prospective bridegroom is a 1997 graduate of Republican Valley High School.

An Oct. 26, 2013, wedding is planned at St. Patrick Catholic Church in McCook.
