McCOOK, Nebrska -- Shannon Sue Dawald and Harry Charles Sughroue of McCook, Nebraska, were united in marriage Aug. 9, 2013, in the couple's backyard with Jason Blomstedt officiating.

Parents of the bride are Lee and Kathy Dawald, Rio Rancho, New Mexico.

Maid of honor was Lindsay Cassel, daughter of the bride, of Glendora, California. The best man was Seth Sughroue, son of the bridegroom, of St.Paul, Minnesota.

Music was provided by Fred and Holly Kennedy, of Indianola, Nebraska. A reception was at the couples' backyard.

The bride grew up in Arcadia, California and moved to McCook in 2010. The bridegroom has lived in Southwest Nebraska his entire life.

The couple first met in December of 2010 and became engaged on Dec. 25, 2012. They plan to continue to live and work in McCook.
