BEAVER CITY, Nebraska -- Erma LuEmma Hall, 94, of Beaver City, died Tuesday (July 16, 2013), at the Beaver City Manor, in Beaver City.

She was born on Feb. 21, 1919, to Osa (Mulford) Robeson, several months after her father, Andrew Earl Robeson had died of influenza in the fall of 1918. She was born southeast of Holbrook, Nebraska, on a farmstead.

She graduated from Beaver City High School in 1937. She taught in a rural Furnas County for one year then married Orval Leonard Hall on Oct. 29, 1938. They were farmers most of their lives.

She worked as a farm wife, at the Beaver City Locker Plant and as an assistant cook and then head cook at Beaver City Public Schools. She also worked as a livestock sale barn clerk, a waitress, and at the Apollo Industries in Beaver City. She was a member of the Grace Brethren Church of Beaver City.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Leonard, in 1987; step-father, Theodore Wilson, two brothers, Bill Robeson and Cecil Wilson, two sisters, Evelyn Allison and Elsie Hall and her son-in-law, Morris Mullis.

She is survived by her daughter, Lana L. Mullis, of Ten Sleep, Wyoming; sons, A. Dennis Hall and wife, Ann of Oak Grove, Missouri and Jay De Hall of Red Cloud, Nebraska; sister, Eleanor Casteel of Scottsbluff, Nebraska and five grandchildren.

Funeral services are Saturday, July 20, 2013, at 10:30 a.m. at the Hollinger Methodist Church in Hollinger, Nebraska, with the Revs. Keith Theobald and Jane Blum officiating. Burial will be at the Union Cemetery at Beaver City.

Viewing and visitation is Friday, July 19, 2013, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the funeral home and prior to the service at the church.
