Raffle for Masters Golf Tournament flag

Lorri Sughroue/McCook Daily Gazette Chances to win a flag from the 2008 Masters Golf Tournament will be available beginning on Friday. The flag has the signatures of the golfers who played in that tournament.

McCOOK, Nebraska -- A one-of-a-kind flag from the 2008 Masters Golf Tournament will be raffled off during the 2013 John Mullen Pro Am Golf Tournament in McCook June 7-9, at Heritage Hills Golf Course.

Donated by Tim Olson of the Olson Group, the flag has the signatures of the golf pros who played in that tournament, including signatures of Arnold Palmer, Charl Schwartzel, Vijay Singh, Zach Johnson, Mark O'Meara, Ray Floyd, Jose Maria Olazabel and Bernhard Langer.

Charitable chances are $10 for one, three for $20 and are available at the Community Hospital Health Foundation, 801 West C in McCook.

The drawing will be Saturday, June 8, at the John Mullen Pro-Am banquet. The winner need not be present to win.

The John Mullen Pro-Am golf tournament begins Friday, June 7, 4 p.m., with pro golfers playing in the Ron Coleman Memorial Horse Race at Heritage Hills Golf Course. This event is open to the public.

This is the 25th anniversary of the John Mullen Pro Am tournament. Last year, the tournament netted $19, 500 for Community Hospital of McCook.
