Traveling Vietnam Wall arrives in McCook

McCOOK, Nebraska -- The traveling Vietnam War Memorial Wall arrived in McCook Wednesday afternoon, accompanied by a motorcycle escort. It will be on display at Weiland Field in McCook from noon Thursday through Sunday.

  • Granny I agree to a point. The wall was in a trailer and not much to see until it is set up, however the bikes and cars most of which are members of the patriot guard were the escort, and quite the turn out, (all the way from Bartley) for many vets, and many that took time off work to be part of the FIRST part of the event, not to mention the many other activities these brave men/women take part in. But I agree, the Wall is stunning...but the story here was covered correctly.
