BEAVER CITY, Nebraska -- Clay B. Grilli, 40, died Wednesday (April 24, 2013), at Cambridge Memorial Hospital in Cambridge, Nebraska.

He was born on Jan. 20, 1973, at Boulder, Colorado to Bill and Barbara (Harris) Grilli.

He attended Centaris High School at Louisville, Colorado, and attended college in graphic design. After school, he worked for his father as paint contractor.

He worked for Furnas County Farms and Kaufman's Trailer Company for a number of years.

He was preceded in death by his father, Bill; cousin, Mark Grilli; uncles, John Franssen and Ralph Grilli and aunts, Blanche Kounalis and Anna Grilli.

He is survived by his wife, Janie Wiley of Beaver City; mother, Barbara Grilli of Beaver City; sons, Jayce Taylor "JT" and Christian Blake Grilli; daughter, Sophia Nicole Grilli; step-daughter, Ashli Bond-Wiley; brother, Wade and wife, Katie Grilli of Beaver City; sister, Wendy and husband, Larry Rogers of Grand Island, Nebraska, and many other family members.

Memorial services are Monday, April 29, 2013, at 1 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church in Beaver City with the Revs. Ivan and Joyce Dean and Bill Weaver officiating. Inurnment is at the Mount Hope Cemetery in Beaver City.

Viewing and visitation is today from 4-6 p.m. at Wenburg Funeral Home in Beaver City.
