Hanging out with 'crackpots'

OGALLALA, Nebraska -- A crackpot is someone who is unrealistically imaginative or bizarre. Do you know a crackpot? Maybe you are a crackpot.

Barbara Bath from Wichita, Kansas used to be a crackpot. She will be sharing the story of her "Journey from a "Crackpot" to a "Cracked Pot" on Wednesday, April 17, at the Ogallala/Grant Women's Connection.

The luncheon meeting will be from 11:30 a.m. - 1 p.m., at the Fuller building, 202 East 3rd St in Ogallala. Tickets at the door are just $7 and include the luncheon and entertainment.

Greta Grafford will also present the special feature for the gathering on "How to do Pottery."

Bath is a retired school counselor and licensed professional counselor. In 1998-99 she was awarded the "State of Kansas "Outstanding School Counselor of the Year" She now reads weekly on the radio for visually impaired. Bath is a master storyteller and a very humorously entertaining speaker. This is a program for anyone and everyone is invited.
