Cattle Trail meeting Wednesday

TRENTON, Nebraska -- Reservations must be made by Monday, March 11 for the T-bone steak supper prior to the meeting of the Nebraska Great Western Cattle Trail Association meeting Wednesday, March 13.

Supper starts at 6 p.m., followed by the meeting at 7 p.m., both at the North Shore Marina west of Trenton, Nebraska, on Highway 34.

The agenda for the meeting (which those interested in the organization can attend without also eating the meal) includes stock certificate presentations, recognition of county historical societies, review and approval of marker applications, website development and discussion of a logo.

Co-chairman Ted Tietjen will show his slide show of the Great Western Cattle Trail through Southwest Nebraska.
