Accidents

OCT. 31, 2012:

8:00 p.m., Westview Plaza -- a vehicle owned by Elizabeth M. Sprenkle, 32, Oberlin, Kansas, was struck by an unknown vehicle while parked at Dollar General. The collision caused an estimated $1,900 in vehicle damage.

4:39 p.m., 1900 block of West B Street -- vehicles driven by Tracy M. Carpenter, 40, 102 South Street, and Lori A. Smith, 43, Culbertson, Nebraska, collided while both vehicles were exiting parking spaces in the Walmart parking lot. The collision resulted in $3,000 in combined vehicle damage.

Found Dogs: Two young (approximately 12 weeks) possibly Cocker Spaniel mix pups, both females, one black and one tan, were found on East 6th Street and brought to Humane Society on Wednesday afternoon, Nov. 7.

Found Dog: A silver and tan unaltered male Yorkie was found on J Street and West 10th and brought to the Humane Society at 11:08 on Wednesday, Nov. 7.

Found Dog: A young female brindle pit bull was found on B Street and brought to the Humane Society on Thursday, Nov. 1.

Found Dog: An older guy, a black and tan Chihuahua wearing a blue collar with a bell was found on the highway between McCook and Culbertson and brought to the Humane Society on Wednesday, Oct. 31.
