Crowds gather for the annual "Best Dam Car Show" Friday, at the Good Life Marina on the dam at Swanson Lake west of Trenton, Nebraska. The car show, part of Trenton's annual "Harvest Festival," attracted Rod Mollring of Cambridge, who drove the 1960 Cadillac Coupe DeVille he inherited from his aunt, Mary Donna Mollring, who inherited it from her parents, the Bill Quinns of Oxford, who bought it new. Behind what Mollring calls "my boat," is the 1941 Buick Super owned by Tim and Teri Stevens of McCook. Dick Buhler of North Platte scrubbed some road grime off the 1939 Chevy coupe that he's restored and driven since 1974.
