Hillcrest Foundation Golf Tournament Aug. 4

McCOOK, Nebraska -- The 2nd Annual Hillcrest Foundation Golf Tournament is fast approaching and organizers are encouraging community members to mark their calendar for Saturday, August 4, and make plans to be a part of this growing event at Heritage Hills Golf Course.

Pam Harsh, Foundation director, noted the flurry of activity as teams and sponsors get lined up to spend an enjoyable day and support a great cause at the same time. Proceeds from the tournament will be dedicated to completing construction of a Chapel for Hillcrest Residents in the newly renovated area of the nursing home.

Participants in last year's tournament were very pleased with the event and are looking forward to this year. Due to the outstanding support from the community and surrounding area, flight payouts were generous, flag prizes were outstanding, the silent auction offered opportunities for some great buys, and the food was amazing.

According to Harsh, "Kerri Cash, Tournament Director, and Ron Cash, Heritage Hills Pro, along with numerous dedicated Hillcrest employee volunteers, did an excellent job organizing and facilitating the day last year!" Kerri commented, "This is what it is all about! Our Hillcrest staff wants what is best for our Residents and see the Chapel as an important facet in their lives! The staff really gets behind all that goes into making this tournament a success. We were excited with what we were able to raise last year and feel confident that the tournament will be successful again this year."
