Delay jail project

Dear Editor,

I know that the County Commissioners spend many hours working on behalf of Red Willow County.

I also realize how tired they are of dealing with the jail issue; however, new information has recently been presented to them that cannot be ignored.

This new plan not only benefits the taxpayers, but also keeps the historic value of Norris Avenue and the Frank Lloyd Wright Home intact.

I believe the commissioners are morally obligated to the people to be willing to thoroughly study and investigate this new information.

I am in hopes that they consider a 60-day delay on this 5.1 million dollar project ... a project that will impact our city for the next 75 to 100 years.
