Letter to the Editor

Thanks, Mr. Kiplinger

Wednesday, March 9, 2011

Dear Editor,

I would like to thank Mr. Kiplinger for putting his dream of an indoor arena into reality.

It is truly one of the nicest indoor arenas/facilities in the Midwest. Deb Lafferty with the fair office is always a joy to work with when you need to book the arena for an event and Charlie Collins does a super job of always having the facility ready and the ground perfect.

I produce barrel races during the winter at the arena and have riders coming from quite a distance -- South Dakota, Oklahoma, Texas, Colorado, to compete.

We are very fortunate to have access to such a place and to have the support of the community.

Deb Christy

  • Does anybody know where this arena is? The article sure doesn't address anything in relation to it's location.
