Jenna and Rocky Baalmann

COLBY, Kansas -- Jenna Renee (Faimon) of Stratton, Nebraska and Rocky Diamond Baalmann of Colby, Kansas were united in marriage on July 24, 2010, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Colby with the Rev. Dana Clark officiating.

Parents of the couple are Tom and Teri Faimon of Stratton, Ron Baalmann of Colby, and the late Julia Baalmann. Grandparents of the bride are Peggy Rutherford of Mission Viejo, California, the late Ralph Rutherford, and the late Rich Mona Faimon, formerly of McCook. Grandparents of the bridegroom are the late Bill and Clara Flipse and the late Edward and Eleanor Baalmann.

The cross used in the wedding ceremony was the same cross used in the bride's grandparents, Rich and Mona Faimon's, wedding.

The bridegroom carried a picture of his late mother within his jacket. The bride carried within her bouquet pictures of her late Grandpa and Grandma Faimon, Grandpa R. and Grandma McMeen.

The maid of honor was sister of the bride, Lisa Faimon of Stratton. Bridesmaids were Sandra Arroyo of Plainview, Texas and Jessy Specht of Lamar, Colorado.

The best man was brother of the bridegroom, Ryan Baalmann of Colby. The bridegroomsmen were Lee Dempewolf of Topeka, Kansas and Nick Baden of Wichita,Kansas.

The ushers were brother of the bride, Jordan Faimon of Stratton and brother of the bridegroom, Ronnie Baalmann of Denver, Colorado.

The ring bearer was nephew of the bride, Jakob Faimon. The ring bearer carried a pillow filled with flower petals from special moments throughout the bride's life. The pillow was made by the bride's mother and decorated with lace from the bride's mother's wedding veil.

The lector was uncle of the bride, Bruce Faimon of Seward, Nebraska.

The guest book and program attendants were sister of the bridegroom, Rachel Smollock and niece of the bridegroom, Melissa Smollock, both of Colby. Music was provided by cousins of the bride, soloist, Jenny Faimon Anderson of Aurora, Colorado, and organist, Mary Faimon of Stratton.

The vases of the altar flowers were filled with wheat as a representation of the bride's family connection to the wheat harvest.

A reception took place at the American Legion in Colby. The reception hosts were brother of the bride Greg Faimon, and Tammy Clark. The cake servers were aunts of the bride, Deb Faimon and Barb Woodruff, and cousins of the bride, Michelle Faimon and Alyson Woodruff.

The bride is a 2004 graduate of Lakeside Central High School in Trenton, Nebraska and a 2006 graduate of Colby Community College. She is employed at Cargill in Schuyler, Nebraska as an accountant.

The bridegroom is a 2003 graduate of Colby High School in Colby, a 2005 graduate of Colby Community College, and a 2008 graduate of Fort Hays State University in Hays, Kansas. He is employed at Cargill in Schuyler as an accountant.

The couple is planning a honeymoon this winter to Las Vegas and resides in Schuyler.
