Letter to the Editor

Revolution time?

Wednesday, March 24, 2010

Dear Editor,

America was harmed and freedom destroyed Sunday night with the "yes" votes in a bill that reeked with deceit and promises with twists and turns. Each congressman by voting "yes" has put a heavy burden on his children, grandchildren and on down the line to all Americans.

17,000 IRS agents will be hired to police the new health insurance bill. Our White House is a Nazi nest. Soon the Gestapo (IRS policemen) will knock on your door (and there will be two Gestapo guards with him) and demand to see your proof of health insurance and a paid tax receipt. If you don't produce them, off to jail you'll go.

Can't people see this is what the president is trying to do? The White House offices are filled with communists (some professed) without legislation. He seems to have a vision of complete rule of every phase of our government.

Medically, things will be in complete chaos. Picture this: a severe attack requiring immediate surgery. Do you think the government's appointed inspector will fly in from DC and give his approval or non medical approval? Or maybe it will be too late. Maybe it is accurate and 45 percent of our doctors will quit practicing! Think that over.

This takeover of our government must be stopped before we become "sheep led to the slaughter" by the type of person we call president and his Nazi cohorts. A revolution sounds good to me.

I'm stealing from Dick Trail: This is the way I see it.

Evelyn Richards,

McCook

  • To all you complainers, TAKE NOTE!!!! To change the make-up of government on any level all you have to do is GET OFF YOUR ROTUND POSTERIOR AND VOTE. If you're too lazy to vote, that's your fault and you have no right to whine or complain.

If the 75-80% of Americans who don't vote did so, we'd have better government of, by, and for the people instead of for the group with the deepest pockets.

Electing politicians is like using the toilet facilities in an airport. You check all the options carefully and go with the one who's the least offensive to your nose.

  • Evleyn, you go girl! You are the typical voice of the Republican party. They should be proud to have your wisdom representing them.

Go forth and scare people it is your duty.

  • While I am not happy with Obama and the direction he is taking this country I do not like when the "Nazi" label is trotted out. For one it demeans the catastrophic damage and losses the Nazis caused in the 30's and 40's. I would say this isn't the typical Republican any more than the wackos who were screeching about Bush causing the 911 attacks are the typical Democrat. Also nice job Wondering way to get a dig in about an entertainer,so who do you get your facts from Sean Penn?

We will have a revolution in this country and it will happen in November. Old grouch I don't really want a lot of the people I know who don't vote to start, they are about the most ignorant uneducated fools I have ever met in most cases.

  • I like you're thinking Chaco,

That's about it too. These people think all conservatives live by Rush's every word, but if we can't think for ourselves, then who thinks for them? Bill Mahr, Sean Penn (he's a dandy), Al Franken?

Sean Penn is at the alter of communism worshiping daily, you can't tell me there's not a few in congress.

  • Justin76 I expect few people can tell you much of anything.I'm also wondering when you came to be Sean Penn's social secretary to have such intimate knowledge of his daily routine.Actually we have pretty good evidence that Rush's every word has enormous influence as we hear them repeated ad nauseam often verbatim.None of those other people you mention has a daily radio program. Senator Franken is probably quite busy with his duties in congress, Mr. Penn makes a movie now and again and sometimes exercises his first amendment rights in between.Mr. Mahr has a television show that comes on after my bedtime and I don't recall him, or any of the others, ever coming up with a catchy phrase like feminazi that ends up a byword in lower wingnutistan.Nor do I recall any politician of the party you'd claim they represent kowtowing and apologizing when they might have inadvertently hurt the delicate feelings of any of the people you mention besides oxyrush Limpball

  • I'm looking forward to Evelyn posting again to tell us just where in the health care reform bills she's found all these dire provisions with their dire consequences.

Given that the text with summary is available here:

    http://tinyurl.com/yzg639m

and that I've followed the progress of this legislation closely and have never seen mention of any of them except in e-mails a repcon friend of mine forwards to me from time to time as he knows how much I enjoy low comedy.

  • What the Nazi's did was elevate the value of one group of people by devalue of another. This led to the logical conclusions and eventual actions where that less valuable life was extinguished. That same thinking and value system is being applied to the unborn and the result is sadly the same.

The power to create life should be respected. We should all be pro-responsible behavior. Argument pro-life or pro-choice is the wrong question to the supreme answer.

  • How about tea baggers x forget that one already? or even Oxyrush even you reguritate that one. Pretty pathetic when your entire post is rife with left catchphrases and buzzwords demeaning a private citizen adn a mere entertainer.

Didn't Senator Smalley have a radi show at one time? Oh yea they can't compete and went belly up, are you upset still over that ? Could that be where your irrational fear and hate of a mere entertainer comes from?

  • oh, so calling a group of radical feminists feminazi's is bad, but attacking a person calling him oxyrush limpball is okay. Aren't you just the epitome of calm and rational.

I don;t need to be Sean "the Commie" Penn's personal assisitnat to know that has several times visited Hugo Chavez in Venezuela to ***** about our country and how we are all nuts, while he praised Chavez for keeping his people under control and took their industries over to limit how much money they make, and how he rations their electricity.

He also announced very recently that right wing media persons should go to jail anytime the say something negative about the president and all his liberal men.

Well, I don't know how educated you are, so I'll just tell you, Sean Penn is a commie. He wants to regulate all the business in this country, as long as he can still make millions being an actor of course. He also wants to eliminate free speech a.k.a the first ammendment! Go to jail? This guy was serious? He's so stupid he doesn't even realize the diarhea that comes out of his mouth.

Let's review the other countries where you free speech is not allowed. Cuba, Venezuela, North Korea, China, the old USSR, and the old East Germany.
