The McCook Community Trails group would like to install a set of Air Walkers, like those above in a Sterling, Colo., city park, along the Kelley Creek Walking Trail. The group is looking for sponsors or co-sponsors for the $850 piece of equipment so that the equipment could be installed around mid-November along with other pieces previously purchased. With the completion of the second phase of the Kelley Creek Walking Trail, city crews are ready to install three additional pieces of exercise equipment along the newly completed portion of the trail. The pieces to be installed include the Floating Balance System, Lat Pull and Chest Press machine, and the Strength and Stretch Bars.

The exercise equipment that has been placed along the trail was acquired through a challenge grant awarded by Blue Cross and Blue Shield and matched by donations from McCook businesses and individuals. Sponsorship signage recognizing the donors will be installed after all equipment has been put in place.

The McCook Community Trails group would also like to install one additional piece of equipment, and they are looking for a sponsor or co-sponsors for a set of Air Walkers. "This was the most popular piece in the Sterling, Colo. Park," said organizer Tor Olson. "It will be located at the new trail head near the playground equipment, which will facilitate the opportunity for an adult or two to get some aerobic exercise while supervising their kid(s) playing on the playground equipment."

Organizers would like to secure sponsorship for the $850 Air Walker set as quickly as possible so that this equipment could be installed at the same time the previously purchased equipment is installed, around mid-November.

Interested sponsors can call Tor Olson at (308) 350-0643.
