Erica and Jeremy Zywiec

COLUMBUS -- Erica Reitz and Jeremy Zywiec were united in marriage May 16, 2009, at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Columbus with Rev. LaDel Lape officiating.

Parents of the couple are Jerry and Deb Reitz of McCook and Edward and Margo Zywiec of Columbus.

The bride's grandparents are Hank Reitz of Gold Canyon, Ariz., and Mildred Buschkoetter of McCook. Grandparents of the bridegroom are Edward and Betty Zywiec of Columbus.

Tessa Coburn of Lincoln was the maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Jodi DelaConcha, cousin of the bride, of Lincoln, Abbi Frey of Lincoln, Kiley Peterson of Wayne, Shelli Naughton of Columbus and Josi DelaConcha, cousin of the bride, of Lincoln.

Josh Fricke of Columbus was the best man. Bridegroomsmen were Adam Zywiec, brother of the bridegroom, of Lincoln, Brad Zywiec, brother of the bridegroom, of Columbus, Josh Lueders of Pierce, Brian Naughton of Columbus and Mithchell Reitz, brother of the bride, of McCook.

Emma Reitz, niece of the bride, of Kearney and Janessa DelaConcha, cousin of the bride, of Lincoln were flowergirls. The ringbearer was Noah Zywiec, nephew of the bridegroom, of Lincoln.

Candlelighters were Danielle Buschkoetter, cousin of the bride, of Kearney and Grant Buschkoetter, cousin of the bride, of Kearney. Ushers were Travis Reitz, brother of the bride, of Kearney, Andrew Reitz, brother of the bride, of Omaha, Ryan Blaser, Chad Clayburn and Matt Langer, all of Columbus.

Roger Buschkoetter, uncle of the bride, of Indianola and Callie Kathol of Lincoln were the soloists.

A reception followed at the Eagles Club in Columbus. Julia Zywiec, sister-in-law of the bridegroom, of Lincoln and Steffani Otto of Columbus were the guestbook attendants. Host couples were Randy and Kim Buschkoetter, uncle and aunt of the bride, of Kearney and Chuck and Lori Zywiec, uncle and aunt of the bridegroom, of Columbus

The bride is a chiropractic assistant for Hinze Chiropractic of Columbus. The bridegroom is a police officer for City of Columbus.

The couple honeymooned in Orlando, Fla., and reside in Columbus.
