Jaycee Sports Complex improvements

New walkways at the Jaycee Sports Complex will be completed this fall. Travis Sund of T.L. Sund Constructors, Inc. said the project will take his crew two weeks and will use more than 400 square yards of concrete. Gerhold Concrete is the concrete provider and Miller and Associates is handling the engineering. The improvements are financed by city sales tax and general funds. The city imported dirt and crowned the softball fields for water drainage. Sod was also added to the baselines and around home plate on the Bison softball field. The pitcher's mound on the Legion field also received new clay and the baselines were carved and re-sodded.
