RPAC boys hoops team selected

The Republican Plains Activities Conference All Conference boys basketball teams have been chosen.

Golden Plains Division

Hayes Center and Wauneta-Palisade players dominate the Golen Plains Division first team.

Sophomores Drew Harris and Chris Bartels will represent the Broncos and junior Keifer Messersmith and senior Matt Gohl represent Hayes Center. Junior Kendal Glidden joins in from Dundy County-Stratton.

Seniors Ben Anderson of DCS, Bryce Hasenauer of Wallace and Luke Clifford of Hayes Center were named to the second team.

Brandon Arent, a junior from Maywood, and sophomore Sean May of Wallace also made second team honors.

Zach Cruz, a sophomore of Hitchcock County, and juniors Brady Rosno of Hayes Center and Cooper Bollman of Paxton were named honorable mention, along with seniors Trevor Confer of DCS and TJ Ellicott of Wauneta-Palisade.

Republican Valley Division

Seniors lead the Republican Plains Division first team.

Seniors Ivan Simic of Arapahoe, Ben Wolfe of Medicine Valley, Dillon Breinig of Arapahoe and Drew Witte of Southern Valley made the team, along with junior Travis Kuck of Bertrand.

Seniors also dominate the second team:

Troy Hayes of Cambridge, Dalton Hyke of Arapahoe, Marcus Ehrke of Alma and Nolan Hammond of Medicine Valley and junior Delvin Jackson of Cambridge were named to the second team.

Honorable mention honors went to seniors TJ Vacura of Cambridge, Tanner Eberle of Medicine Valley, Michael Hoxmeier of Southern Valley, Tanner Fowler of Bertrand and junior Chad Whetstine of Alma.
